College funds are available for those getting into armed forces in addition to the Montgomery GI Bill. These are given on a competitive basis depending on the academic performance. To qualify for this allowance, one will have to sign a bond to serve for six years. Sizable amount of support is obtained for all the armed forces through these college funds. Armed Forces Tuition Assistance will allow those who are enlisted and you can enroll in accredited colleges and universities. It pays 100% of the expenses and if not MGIB can be used to top up the remaining expenses.
