To encourage higher education a lot of aids and scholarships are available in the country. Some private individuals also come forward to help students in need of financial resources. Military aids are available for veterans to help them look for jobs. Military aid is also given to those who want to be in the armed forces and for the dependants of veterans. Most students who perform well in schools will be eligible for scholarships although different scholarships will have different criteria for qualification. Montgomery GI Bill will cover about 3/5th of the cost and a lot of people fail to make use of this.
