At present there are around 77 million students in various levels of education in the United States of America. This is actually not a very high number and is very low when compared to many other countries. This does not mean that there are lesser people going to college; in fact the ratio of people who go to college and those who are working is almost the same. This gives us a idea of the unique balance. College education in the States is optional and most of times it is taken up much later in life. This gives the people a lot of opportunities to do many more things.
