The way in which education for children with special needs is approached in the States is appreciable. There is a system called mainstreaming which is done. This is a method of trying to include the students with special needs to participate in the normal study education system as far as possible. If the child is able to cope with it, then it is good. The special needs are categories as hearing or speech impairment, writing and learning disorders, emotional imbalances, mental retardation. If these are under controllable limits, then they are exposed to the normal routines as much as possible.
